This Book Yall
I don’t typically post blogs about reviews. Okay, let’s face it….lately I haven’t been blogging much at all. But this book, y’all, is amazing!
I’m telling you ladies, this is it. This is THE book. Rachel Hollis nails it with this brutally honest break down of the LIES we tell ourselves. She breaks each lie down in each chapter by giving you her own story of how she learned, the hard way of course, that it is a lie. She also gives you tips on how she got through each one.
I found this book through an ad on my FaceBook. I saw her face on the cover and had seen a few videos that some of friends had shared. I had no idea who she really was or how much awesomeness she had already achieved. So I said “Why not”. Audible was offering it for free if you sign up for a free account. FREE? Even better! I had nothing to loose. I love Audible! Where has this been all my life. I spend so much time in my car traveling from job site to job site. It will just make it so much easier to finally get to those books that I have been wanting to read but haven’t had the time or the energy. When my head hits the pillow most nights, I’m done. I was able to blow throw this book in a matter of days. I know y’all bookies out there are like “So…?”. This is an accomplishment for me. With my job, school, kids, homework, cheer practice, football games…. y’all …. this is a great accomplishment for me.
