22. Breakdowns and Breakthroughs: Navigating Kids, COVID-19, and Quarantine

Welcome back to the Chaotic Compass podcast! Today, I’m sharing my experience with taking care of a kid who tested positive for COVID-19 while also sick with strep throat. My 13-year-old daughter Kylie contracted the virus last week and, as you can imagine, catering to a teen in quarantine did not come without its challenges.

In this episode, I’ll dive into the details of her symptoms and testing, how we navigated keeping Kylie in quarantine while keeping her siblings away, and the chaos that comes with working from home while nursing a sick child back to health.
